The following is an unedited article written by a young 12 year old girl at Church to write. She was asked to feedback on her understanding of teaching on the subject of grace and faith.
Grace is provision without works. You can access it by faith - and only by faith - which comes from hearing God's word.
Grace is eternal and infinitely bountiful and we have access to it through faith. For example, you're in a room with no food or water. There is a hole in one the walls that leads to a banquet. That hole is called faith. The only way you can get to the provision is by going through faith.
Another example is one of an empty house floating through space. A glittery substance is rolling on and around it, but none is getting into the house.
The doors and windows open and the glittery substance seeps into the house and creates furniture. The more windows and doors open, the more furniture made. However as soon as the windows close, the mass production of furniture stops.
The windows and doors opening is faith The glittery substance, grace The furniture, provision And the house is your life.
Faith is a receiver.
