I gladly glory in the cross of Christ, in the Father who rebirths hopeless sinners into a lively hope by the Spirit. Now, sin has no more claims on me whatsoever and I have no further obligation to live in obedience to it.
A new creation in Christ and not merely human, I am blessed with a new and natural disposition towards the Spirit and not towards the sinful nature. I am still under obligations, but not to the unregenerate nature, to live by its principles, but under the obligation of the Spirit to live the gospel-shaped life.
There’s no reason to continue to indulge in slumber, apathy or insensibility to spiritual realities. As light increases from the knowledge of the gospel, so does my persuasion of these spiritual realities. A spirit-filled and fruit-filled life is what the grace of God is effecting in and through me.
My life has become a life of adventure - exploring the vast expanse of what God has provided for me in Christ Jesus. My life has become a life of gratitude - seeking new ways of using my lips and my life to say Thank You
believingspeaking is provided to aid in the dissemination, retention and practise of the message of the gospel. It is often recited congregationally as part of the liturgy, and because it may also help to distill certain doctrinal emphasis for discipleship, may serve as a catechetical document.
